Hi, I am Ashley. Portrait photographer, clinical social worker, and a big fan of food that is bad for me.
This is very cliché for an about me page, but it is simply the truth: I have always loved photography! I received my first camera for Christmas when I was 12. I hung up sheets against my closet for a backdrop, glammed up my sister in her best dresses, and believed myself to be the next Annie Leibovitz. Overtime, I started to develop a passion for working with vulnerable individuals to improve their overall wellbeing. This led me to clinical social work. Here is that cliché again: I love being a clinical social worker! I get to help individuals when they are experiencing difficult life moments. However, clinical social work doesn't feed that creative artist in me (and she must be fed, otherwise she gets cranky).
As a portrait photographer I get to capture the beauty of individuals, groups, and families. In addition, being able to provide portraits that you can hold on to for the rest of your life, and your children's lives, is truly a joy. I would love the opportunity to photograph you!
